Watch: Odd UFO filmed 'deploying objects' over Brazilian city

A curious piece of footage from Brazil shows an odd UFO hovering over a city and seemingly deploying a pair of smaller objects into the night sky. The strange scene was reportedly captured by witness Diego Santos in the city of Sao Paulo's Mooca District at around 12:30 in the morning this past Sunday. In the video, a sizeable glowing object that appears to be somewhat spherical can be seen almost drifting in the sky. Over the course of Santos' sighting, a pair of anomalous balls of light emerge from the UFO and ultimately vanish.

As for what he may have filmed, UFO enthusiasts note that the object does not display any particular lights which would indicate that it was a terrestrial craft along the lines of a plane, helicopter, or drone as such vehicles are required to have such distinguishing characteristics. Some have also pointed to the unique shape of the anomaly and mused that it may be plasma in nature. However, skeptical observers have put forward a compelling argument that the object is, in fact, a lantern and the smaller objects are merely embers. Given that the UFO was filmed over a major city in the middle of the weekend, one can't discount this prosaic possibility. What's your take on the footage?
