Watch: Odd silver orb filmed cruising across Utah sky

An interesting video filmed earlier this week in Utah shows an odd silver orb cruising silently through the sky to the bewilderment of a father and son who noticed the peculiar object overhead. The unusual sighting reportedly occurred on Wednesday afternoon in the city of Nephi. According to the witness, "my 7-year-old suddenly pointed to the sky and said, 'Dad, why is there a star in the middle of the day?'" When the man looked, he later marveled, "sure enough, there was something strange up there." What specifically captured the pair's attention was a shiny silver orb that moved through the sky at a fairly steady speed.

Recognizing the weirdness of what they were seeing, the dad briefly captured footage (seen above) of the UFO with his cell phone. The witness indicated that, after he stopped filming the orb, it "changed directions in a way that felt… intentional." To that end, he described the object's movement in the sky as "almost playful, like it was being guided," in a manner that led him to dismiss the possibility that the UFO was a drone or balloon. Ultimately, the man was left mystified by the strange sighting. What do you think the father and son spotted on Wednesday afternoon? Weigh in with your thoughts at the C2C Facebook page.
