Watch: Ghost throws cleaning equipment onto tracks at Mexico City metro station?

A peculiar piece of security footage from a Mexico City metro station shows the moment when a heavy piece of cleaning equipment suddenly flies onto the tracks, leaving some to wonder if the weird incident was the work of a ghost. According to a local media report, the strange scene unfolded earlier this month at a largely barren train depot in the country's capital city. In the video, seen above, a buffing machine left near the tracks inexplicably crashes onto the rails and creates an enormous short circuit.

The manner in which the sizeable equipment seemed to easily move on its own as if propelled by an invisible force sparked online speculation that a spirit was responsible for the eerie event. That said, more skeptical observers argued that the incident was probably caused by the machine having some kind of mechanical issue or, failing that, the footage was fabricated.
