Watch: Ghost child filmed wandering around abandoned Mexican department store?

A spooky video out of Mexico features what some believe to be a ghost child wandering around an abandoned store before vanishing into thin air. According to a local media report, the eerie scene was filmed earlier this month in the city of Santa Catarina. In the footage, a toddler appearing to be inside the empty department store can be seen walking along its front window. Chillingly, after some cars pass in front of the building, there is no sign of the youngster, who seemingly disappeared in a split second.

Since being posted online, the creepy video has gone viral on social media in Mexico with many viewers suggesting that the toddler was a ghost. More skeptical observers, however, have argued that the child could be from a homeless family that has taken up residence in the abandoned store, though this theory fails to explain how or why the youngster suddenly disappeared. To that end, others have posited that the video is a cleverly crafted hoax using two pieces of footage. What do you make of the strange scene? Weigh in with your thoughts at the C2C Facebook page.
