Gårdsjö, western Sweden, March 15 1982.

After a UFO program on a local radio channel, a UFO investigator was contacted by a woman named Lilly Gustavsson. The witness had experienced a strange event that had greatly affected her, when she was out walking on a road around Lake Vallsjön, near the village of Gårdsjö where the woman lived.

It was a cold spring morning at 6:30 a.m. and the temperature was around freezing. Lilly was taking her cat for their usual morning walk around the lake and they were walking on a small road that led to a large power line. When the woman was about 3 meters (10 feet) away from the power line, she was very surprised, because next to one of the pylons she suddenly saw three small “men”. At the same time, she discovered a craft hovering just above the power lines. She got the impression that the object was borrowing power from the installation. A dull humming sound could be heard all the time.

The gray-blue craft was disc-shaped and had a dome on top. Around its center waist and on the dome there was a row of different colored lights and their colors were yellow, green and red. One of the little men had now turned around and was watching Lilly vigilantly, while the other two kept looking up at the craft that was floating above the power lines. The humanoids' clothing was gray and tight-fitting with a hood and was reminiscent of rubber frogman suits. On their feet the beings wore shoes that almost resembled slalom ski boots. They appeared to have five fingers on their hands and their eyes were small and dark like an animal's. The witness estimated the length of the beings to be about 1 meter (3.3 feet).

The ground around Lilly felt electrified and unusually warm and the cat had now started to hiss, growl and arched its back at the beings and the woman had to lift it up to try to calm it down. For a full 15 minutes Lilly stood there in amazement, studying the unusual thing that was happening in front of her. When she decided to leave the place and walk away, one of the small humanoids turned the other way and stopped looking at her. The cat was never the same after this UFO sighting and refused to eat for 14 days. After talking to a veterinarian, she realized that the cat was sick and she decided to euthanize it.

Lilly herself also felt bad after the sighting. Several months later she was tormented by extreme headaches and pain in her joints and muscles. In addition, she felt “electrified” and the coat she wore at the encounter had acquired such a strange and strong smell that she had to throw it away. She often thinks about the incident that morning and thought it was horrible and she never wants to experience anything like it again. Before the sighting of the little “men” and the craft at the power line, she was skeptical of UFOs and aliens, but she is definitely not anymore.
