The strange winged woman of Vietnam - 1969

The frightening and unique encounter with the Lady of Heaven took place at the height of the Vietnam War, and specifically in Da Nang, a city on the south-central coast of Vietnam.

It was in August 1969 that a man named Earl Morrison, along with a number of comrades, got the shock of his lifetime. It was, quite aptly, in the dead of night when the threatening event occurred – and as men stood guard, keeping a watchful eye on Vietcongues. All was calm and normal until about 1:30. It was when the atmosphere changed, and a mysterious way made his presence known to the shocked men of the U.S. Marine 1st Division.

While a little reluctant to speak publicly, Morrison eventually changed his mind and in 1972 was comfortable discussing the incident, even if he wasn't comfortable with what he encountered. His story makes for an amazing read:

UFO paranormal investigator Don Worley of Indiana conducted this interview in 1971 with a 21-year-old serviceman who described a very strange experience he had near Da Nang, Vietnam in 1969.

Witness:There were three of us And suddenly I don't know why the three of us looked up at the sky and saw this figure coming towards us. It had some kind of glow and we couldn't be sure what it was originally. Starting to head our way pretty slowly. And suddenly we saw what seemed to be wings, like a bat only that was gigantic compared to what a normal bat would be. After we got close enough for us to see what it was, it looked like a woman. A Naked Woman The color was black

Witness: His body was black his skin was black his wings were black everything was black But it sparkled. He was glowing in a greenish type of night.

"She started walking over us, and we haven't heard anything yet. She was way above us and when she went over our heads she was maybe 6 or 7 feet tall. ”

Worley: what have you guys done?

Witness: We could do nothing, we didn't know what to do. We just froze to death We only watched what was happening because we could not believe our eyes.

Worley: Didn't anyone shoot her?

Witness: No, it's amazing what you'd do under certain circumstances. And we just looked at it We couldn't believe it because we had never seen anything like this before in our lives.

So we watched it come to pass We looked it was right above us and she didn't make a sound flapping her wings we didn't hear anything. She turned out the moon because that was how close it was to us. It was dark, but we could still set it because it simply shone. And she started walking right past us into our campsite. And we watched and suddenly she was about 3 meters away and we started hearing her wings flap. And it sounded like normal wings flapping thats exactly what it looked like And she started moving away and we watched for quite some time.

Worley: How fast was she going when she got close to you?

Witness: It looked like she was just... Flapping the wings. She was way too slow She blacked out the moon in idk maybe 10 seconds.

Worley: In other words his speed was too slow.

Witness : Yes.

Worley: Well, what makes you think it was a woman?

Witness: Well, it looked like a woman. You could see her she was naked

Witness: It looked like she was black. Because her skin tone was black

Worley: Who did you tell this to the next day?

The Witness : All. No one would believe in us

Worley: Have you officially reported this to any official?

Witness: Of course yes, for our junior lieutenants and executives, and they kind of looked at us with contempt and then walked away. Like we on drugs or something. That night after it happened, we called the next perimeter post and asked if they saw anything in the sky and when they said no, what are you talking about, we just shut up and said nothing else.

Worley: Did she look especially want to come to you guys?

Witness: No, she was looking at us as she was flying over, but then she put her head back like she was looking where she was going like she had somewhere she was going.

Worley: Did she move her feet?

Witness: No, everything was stationary except for the head and of course the arms. The skin of her wings looked like she had been molded on her hands.

Worley: Was she a slim woman, large or small?

Witness: She looked like medium to me. If standing I would believe she would be about 5 feet tall

Worley: Have you seen her eyes?

Witness: Cannot remember if I saw it or not. I have seen a face I saw a normal face, but don't remember anything about the eyes. I knew she was a woman cause of her breasts

Worley: Didn't you have any clothes?

Witness: Nope, nothing..

In a personal interview with Morrison, he revealed additional data, such as the fact that the woman's hair was dark and straight, and that her wings may have a slightly hairy quality. As for the arms, they looked like no bones.
