This sketch of the Lake Myllesjön Monster was drawn by Swedish Cryptozoologist Richard Svensson. Sightings of a whale-like fish creature in the lake began to pop up quite often in the 1920s and 1930s. Some witnesses claimed to have believed the creature to be a log before it dove back under water, others thought it to be some kind of enormous pike. Multiple times, local townspeople have hand crafted enormous fishing hooks bated with chickens or other livestock and tried to capture the monster. However, despite there sometimes being a reward on its head, no one has ever caught it.
