The Glawackus of Glastonbury, Connecticut
The Glawackus is a creature that was reported to be seen around Glastonbury, Connecticut. It was first reported in 1939 when townspeople started claiming a mysterious creature was attacking pets and livestock. Witnesses described the beast as a large feline-line animal. But others claimed to see something that was part-bear, part-cat and part-dog.
Looking back on this creature, many researchers believe that the stories could have been reports of the Fisher Cat which is an animal the matches the Glawackus and even has the same loud, chilling, scream.
