The Buga Sphere resin is older than the pyramids — by over 10,000 years

A resin sample from the Buga Sphere was recently submitted to the Center for Applied Isotope Studies at the University of Georgia for radiocarbon (Carbon-14) dating and stable isotope analysis.

The results are remarkable: the material dates back approximately 12,560 years, placing it in the Late Pleistocene epoch, during the Younger Dryas — the dramatic final cold snap of the last Ice Age (≈ 12,900–11,700 years ago).
