School boys see little creatures in white with gray caps, Colombia

Location: Ibague, Colombia

Date: August 10 1973 Time: afternoon

Four boys, Medardo Martinez, Hipolito Garcia, Hernan Manjarras and Mario Fernandez Ramirez, pupils at a local middle school were outside of town and were approaching a ravine known as “El Jordan” which lies just a few miles distant from Ibague. They were on an expedition to gather botanical specimens from the semi-dry bed of a nearby rivulet. Arriving at the banks of the stream, the boys observed with vast astonishment four small beings no more than 20cm in height standing beneath and slightly in front of a little stone footbridge and seemingly engaged in searching for something in the mud or the riverbed. The boys described the little creatures as “dressed in white with tiny gray caps on their heads, and with human-like features.” The boys walked on towards them, and then suddenly the little creatures were gone, “disappearing in the air as though by magic.” There is no account of any machine or craft having been seen. After their initial shock and surprise the boys stepped down into the bed of the stream and found a whole series of tiny footprints in the mud. A photograph shows some six or seven of these marks, which certainly look quite deep. Later an anonymous policeman reportedly saw the same or similar creatures in the same area.

Had several unusual incidents as a young man while living in Cuba, such incidents continued as an adult here in the US. Became interested in unusual phenomena and UFOs at a young age but soon directed my focus to the crux of the phenomena, the Humanoids, entities, extraterrestrials, Ufonauts, etc. Began collecting data on such encounters from worldwide sources in the late 80's. Have a current
database of over 18,000 entries which is updated and corrected daily have published four books so far, and expecting more soon.
