Location: Between Upland and Campbell, Nebraska

John Click had seen a lot in life. As a retired Marine and firefighter/paramedic, he's dealt with emergencies, violence, disasters — but nothing prepared him for what he saw that lonely night cruising rural Nebraska roads behind the wheel of an 18-wheeler.

At the time, working for Feekes (KMH Trucking division), John would follow from Garden City, Kansas to Grand Island, Nebraska. To save time, he detoured on rural roads until reaching the isolated Highway 4, surrounded by pastures and low trees.

It was early at night, while driving between Upland and Campbell, something caught John's eye: a ball of yellow-white light, about three meters in diameter, floated silently across a grass, a few meters from the top of the trees. John estimated he was about 100 yards from that, and slowed down trying to figure out what he saw. But it was what was under the light that made your blood run cold.

Lying on the back of a cow, there was a bizarre-looking creature, with its body curved like that of a scorpion — or perhaps a deformed crab. Three long legs wrap around the animal's back, fastening like claws, while a fourth, smaller, stretched further back. The creature had a pale red coloration

The animal was motionless, but its head leaned backward, its neck twisted unnaturally, and its mouth strained. A serious, gutural sound echoed from the pasture, as if the cow was trying to herd... something else prevented him.

John braked the truck and, puzzled, went in reverse. Had to confirm what your eyes were seeing in that field on the side of the road. The unusual-looking creature was continuing on the cow's back. Even from a distance, he could see something that disturbed him deeply: a tail rose in the air, cascading over the creature's body, and disappeared on the other side of the cow's neck. A pink liquid flowed through a tail-shaped tube that exits the creature and disappears behind the animal's neck.

That's when the light moved

That ball of yellow-white glow, floating a few meters above the trees, glided slowly into the air. John, who up until then watched everything paralyzed, felt a deep chill. Without thinking twice, he picked up gear and left as fast as he could - heart shot, mind in shock. He did not know what he had witnessed, but he knew he would never forget.

To this day, he can't explain what he saw that night — but he guarantees that it was not of this world.
