Oklahoma motorist reports seeing possible Sasquatch crossing river

A motorist crossing a bridge in Oklahoma was stunned when he looked down at the river below and spotted what appeared to be a Sasquatch. The intriguing sighting, detailed in a report to the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization, occurred on August 4th as witness Jeff Powers was driving along a highway. At a point where the road turns into a bridge over the Canadian River, he gazed over at the water and noticed "a very large black figure walking across the river."

Stressing the monstrous size of the mysterious traveler, he noted that "I could make out the wake in the water from its passage." Although Powers could not discern any specific details of the figure due to the fleeting nature of the sighting, he was certain that it was bipedal. This understandably made him suspect that it could have been a Bigfoot since it was rather unlikely that a singular person would be crossing the river at that particular location.

To his credit, the curious motorist immediately turned around at the first opportunity and headed back along the bridge in the other direction, hoping for a better understanding of what he had just witnessed. However, by the time he returned to the spot, there was no sign of the strange figure that had seemingly crossed the river at a remarkable speed.
