Odd 'flying saucer' photographed in Mexico

A rather fantastic set of photos circulating online appear to show a classic flying saucer hovering in the sky over a road in Mexico. The intriguing images (which can be seen below) were posted to Twitter last month with a brief description of the circumstances surrounding the strange sighting. According to the account, the pictures were taken on August 17th by an individual named Juanito Juan "in a rural area" of the Mexican state of Tamaulipas. Originally intending "to take some photos of the storm clouds," the witness was bewildered by the sight of the strange object in the sky and quickly snapped a series of photos.

Jaun's images appear to show a metallic disk hovering in the sky and, in each successive picture, the object seems to be gaining in altitude. As one might imagine, the unique shape of the anomaly has drawn comparisons to the classic flying saucer shape of UFO yesteryear. That said, skeptical observers have suggested that the oddity could simply be a prosaic object that was thrown into the air and photographed by a clever prankster or, failing that, a computer fabrication. With that in mind, what's your take on the weird anomaly seen in the images? Share your thoughts with us at the Coast to Coast AM Facebook page.
