New Jersey’s Mantis Man is said to reside around Hackettstown and along the Musconetcong River. This huge insect-like humanoid creature is said to stand at around 6 to 8 feet tall. Most sightings claim the creature to have grasshopper-like legs and is brown or green in color. Many witnesses of this strange creature say that after seeing it, it simply vanishes into thin air after it realizes it is being watched. Sightings of the creature started appearing after 2011 but have dwindled in recent years.

While some believe that this creature could be out there, others think it was all a hoax. Beyond that, some think the insect humanoid could be an alien from beyond our world entirely.
