Navy officer saw ‘non-human entities’ in his bedroom after ‘Gimbal UFO’ encounter

A Naval Intelligence Officer has described his encounter of the famous Gimbal ‘UFO’ and the creepy repercussions he faced afterwards.

Matthew Roberts spoke about the extra-terrestrial incident in a new YouTube video from VICE, which is a snippet from their Netflix series ENCOUNTERS.

Navy officer’s ‘UFO’ encounter

The clip opens with Roberts explaining he was cryptologic technician in the US Navy for 16 years and present on the USS Roosevelt during the “Gimbal event”.

Roberts was one of the first to see the footage and claims the ‘UFO’ was “disc-like” and “flying along then kind of tilts onto its side”.

“I was watching this footage and I could see no, kind of, aviation surfaces that you would expect to see. Wings, tail, you know. A rudder. There’s none of that.”

He “couldn’t make sense” of why the object was up in the air and had an “emotional response” as he knew it “wasn’t ours”.

“That only leaves one other option I think. And that’s non-human tech. Non-human intelligence, technology,” he said.

More about the ‘Gimbal UFO’

The Gimbal event was a famous Navy ‘UFO’ sighting in early 2015 and the video has been released to the public.

It was captured by a military plane’s camera and shows an unidentified flying object zooming over the ocean at speed.

Roberts was on board the USS Roosevelt, the aircraft carrier from which the jet that captured the footage took off and landed.

“Wow, what is that, man?” a person can be heard saying in the background, while another adds: “Look at it fly!”

Nobody has ever confirmed that the object seen was extraterrestrial, but a number of Navy officers have alleged so.

Roberts saw ‘non-human entities’

Roberts claimed he started to have strange alien “follow-on experiences” in 2017 after transferring to the office of naval intelligence.

“That was like the beginning of seeing non-human entities in my room at night,” he said in the video while lighting up a cigarette.

The Navy officer claimed he would wake up in the night and feel his body sliding across the bed like “they were taking me”.

“I felt a hand grab my arm right here, so I went to try and raise my hand to my face to wipe the sleep away and I realised I couldn’t move,” he explained.

“I could just see this outline of a shadowy figure with a torso, two arms and a head standing over me. I knew when they started showing up in my room that all of this was real.”

Motherboard explores the Gimbal event and other unexplained ecounters in ENCOUNTERS, a four-part docuseries streaming on Netflix from September 27. It was brought to life by VICE Studios, Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Television, Boardwalk Pictures, and Netflix, and is directed by Yon Motskin.
