Michigan’s Bigfoot hotspots: See counties with most reported sightings

When it comes to Bigfoot encounters, Michigan is a hot spot.

According to the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization (yes, it’s real), purported Bigfoot sightings are relatively common in Michigan with 226 sightings reported to the organization.

Only California, Florida, Illinois, Ohio, Oregon, Texas and Washington, which has a whopping 725 reports, have more.

The most recent encounter occurred in Monroe County in May was deemed “credible” by the BFRO, but the reality is there have been reports made across the state for years.
