'Man-bat' winged humanoid perched on street light in Chicago's West Lakeview neighborhood
In the early morning hours of September 26, 2017, a Chicago nightclub performer witnessed something perched above a quiet West Lakeview intersection that should not have been there. What began as an ordinary stop at a red light turned into one of the most detailed facial descriptions ever documented in the Chicago winged humanoid wave. This report may help explain why certain entities appear in specific pockets of the city and why their forms vary between encounters.
I received a telephone call on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at 11:50 AM ET from 'ID,' a local Chicago nightclub performer. He had just finished work and was driving home westbound on W. Belmont Ave.
At 1:15 AM CT, he stopped for a red light at the intersection of W. Belmont Ave and N. Damen Ave in the West Lakeview area. He was the only driver and person at the location. As he waited for the red light to change, he noticed something significant perched on the streetlight pole extending over N. Damen Ave. Upon closer inspection, he recognized an unknown being crouched atop the pole. The streetlight illuminated the being, giving the witness a brief opportunity for an excellent observation.
The witness stated that the entity was crouched for about 5 to 10 seconds before it stood up on two distinct legs. As it stood, it unfurled its wings and quickly ascended into the night sky.
The witness described it as resembling a "man-bat," standing at least 6 feet tall. It appeared to have human-like arms and legs, though they were very slender. Its body and head were also slender but proportionate. The wings had a wingspan of approximately 12 feet and were leather-like in appearance, with the body being very dark in color.
The being's face was exciting. The witness noted that it had a short, canine-like snout similar to that of a French Bulldog. However, the overall facial structure resembled that of a Gothic gargoyle. The eyes did not glow or exhibit any color. The witness is unsure if the being reacted to his presence.
As the being unfurled its wings and ascended, the witness heard the loud flapping despite having his windows closed. He mentioned that the overall shape of the winged being reminded him of the "Man-Bat" character in Batman, although it appeared more slender and less intimidating.
The witness was unaware of previous sightings but later contacted a friend who informed him about a series of similar sightings in the Chicago area and how to report his own encounter. While he experienced initial shock and confusion at what he was observing, he did not have a strong emotional or physical reaction to the sighting.
NOTE: This is the best facial description we have received regarding this entity, though I believe there are several winged beings with varied descriptions. Due to three prior sightings in the Little Village neighborhood, the Task Force has developed a working theory about why some of these entities may be manifesting. Combined with other reported incidents, we hope to understand better the reasons behind the increased sightings of these entities. Any updates will be included with this post. Lon

COMMENTARY
This encounter stands out because it offers one of the most precise facial descriptions in the entire Chicago winged-humanoid flap. The canine-like snout paired with a gargoyle structure is unusual but not unheard of, especially in sightings clustered around Belmont, Logan Square, and Little Village.
The witness displayed a calm but focused perception, suggesting no induced fear response or psychic dampening, often reported in O’Hare and Lake Michigan sightings. The physicality described, including the loud wing beats through closed windows, strongly supports a corporeal form rather than a purely spectral manifestation.
Taken with three earlier Little Village cases involving gargoyle-like facial features, this report adds weight to the theory that multiple types or castes of ultraterrestrial or interdimensional winged beings are operating in the region, each with subtle anatomical variants. Lon
