A man out walking was resting in the evening when a luminous, silvery, spherical object about 6m in diameter landed about 50m away. At first dim it grew brighter as they sky darkened. The top of the object then lifted and a luminous being emerged and walked towards the witness. This being had larger than normal eyes, a small mouth, and a barely visible mouth, and was surrounded by a blue aura. On its forehead was a dot, which grew into an antenna and wore a one-piece suit made of a sort of glassy material. The witness approached the being and the being’s antenna touched him and seemed to communicate that it came from Mars in peace. The being then withdrew its antenna but placed its right hand over the witness’s heart and then returned to the object, which took off slowly and then disappeared.
