Saw a large triangle craft standing on the beach

I saw standing on the beach about 15 feet from the shore line looking out towards the pacific (maybe san clemente or san catalina channel.) Clouds were fairly light but still had some coverage.

I could see orion, to my left (10 o’clock position, probably around 60 degrees.) Above Orion was a bright red star, I believe betelgeuse. To the right of Orion looked like Jupiter with maybe Aldebaran below. Thin clouds had formed vertically around Orion, but still very much visible. Gap of coverage between Orion and Jupiter, Jupiter covered with thin layer of cloud. Saw 3 large, perfectly shaped, aligned, and distanced triangles “gliding”. I could see a large dark triangle silhouette that the lights seemed attached too. There was no sound. The triangles glowed a greenish yellow. Have not seen this color on any aircraft.

The ufo crossed the gap of cloud coverage in seconds. I didn't see it come from the clouds around Jupiter, and saw it briefly behind ( maybe in) the clouds around Orion.

I reported this in CUFOS, but someone posted the video from one of another report - https://nuforc.org/sighting/?id=187806 - while the video isn't great, this is exactly what I saw. Spotted in Buenos Aires on 2/18 and I saw it in Laguna Beach a week later.

INVESTIGATION REPORT

Witness: B
Interview date/time: 5-4-2025 at 10:35am PST
Incident duration: Approximately 3 to 5 seconds

On 5-4-2025 at 10:35am PST, I interviewed B regarding his black triangle sighting on 2-27-2025. B stated that he lives in Alabama, and was vacationing in Laguna Beach, California with his family at the time of his sighting. B stated that on 2-27-2025 at approximately 7:15pm PST, he was standing on the beach stargazing. B then stated that it was dark outside, and there was light cloud cover that evening.

B stated that as he was looking up in the sky, he first observed 3 large triangle lights that were greenish/yellow in color. B then stated that he then noticed that the 3 large triangle lights were attached to a very large black triangle aircraft. B stated that the 3 lights were located at each point of the triangle. B also stated that he did not see any other lights on the aircraft.

B stated that the black triangle was massive, but made no noise. B then stated that he saw lots of commercial aircraft flying overhead during his trip and estimated that the black triangle was 5 times the size of a commercial passenger airplane.

B stated that the sighting was only 3 to 5 seconds long. He then stated that the triangle aircraft seemed to appear from behind a thin cloud, and then disappeared behind a second thin cloud. B stated that he should've seen the aircraft behind the second cloud as well, but it seemed to just disappear. He also stated that the aircraft appeared to be gliding as it traveled from one cloud to the other.

Conclusion

B stated that he has been thinking about the sighting since it happened. He also stated that this sighting woke up something inside him, and he has been studying triangle sightings ever since. I gave B my email address and cell number to stay in touch since he will be looking into black triangle sightings in his spare time. B submitted a picture of the triangle in his initial NUFORC report. I checked FlightRadar24 and couldn't find anything. I am classifying this as an anomalous sighting.

The National UFO Reporting Center was founded in 1974 by noted UFO investigator Robert J. Gribble. The Center’s primary function over the past four decades has been to receive, record, and to the greatest degree possible, corroborate and document reports from individuals who have been witness to unusual, possibly UFO-related events.  Throughout its history, the Center has processed over 150,000 reports, and has distributed its information to thousands of individuals.

The principal means used by the Center to receive sighting reports is this website, which has operated continuously since 1994.   Prior to that period, the telephone hotline and the U.S. mail were the primary means of taking reports.

The Center’s independence from all other UFO related organizations, combined with its long standing policy of guaranteed anonymity to callers, has served to make it perhaps the most popular and widely accepted national UFO reporting facility anywhere.   The website and hotline are well known by law enforcement agencies, FAA ARTCC’s and flight service stations, National Weather Services offices, military facilities, NASA, and many 911 emergency dispatch centers all across the United States and in many parts of Canada. Those entities routinely direct the calls they receive regarding possible UFO sightings to the Center.

One of the Center’s policies, which distinguishes its operations from most other UFO organizations, is that it makes available to the public all of its data in summary form. Detailed information is made available to experienced UFO investigators.

The National UFO Reporting Center is a non-profit Washington State corporation, and it is applying for federal 501 C (3) non-profit status.
