An Iowa witness at Waterloo reported watching a glowing, saucer-shaped object, according to testimony in Case 93940.

“I usually look up at night to view the stars,” the witness stated. “When I looked up, a round, glowing object was in the sky to the left of the car place and high in the sky. I thought it was a flying saucer. I watched and couldn't believe what I was seeing. So, I got my friends to come with me to look at it and they verified what I saw. I tried to take a picture of it with my phone and it went up and away with no noise. I was surprised at what I was seeing. My friends verified it did look like a flying saucer. When I raised my cell phone to take a picture of it, it went up and away, but there was no noise at all.”

Iowa MUFON Field Investigator David Kreiter closed this case as an Unknown Aerial Vehicle.
