Indiana motorist claims Chupacabra sighting caused truck crash

An Indiana motorist who crashed his truck told police that the accident was caused by a chupacabra sighting. According to a local media report, the bizarre incident occurred early Sunday morning in the community of Bedford. Cops responding to a call about an overturned truck found the driver, Kaleb M. Sowders, sitting on a large rock near the scene of the accident. While speaking to the police, the young man provided a rather peculiar account of what happened moments before the crash.

Specifically, Sowders told the cops that a "chupacabra ran out in front of him," which understandably caused him to swerve and, in turn, crash his truck. Unfortunately for the young man, police did not take his sighting of the infamous bloodthirsty cryptid very seriously, as he also admitted to having been drinking earlier in the evening and was said to be "uncooperative" during field sobriety tests. Sowders was subsequently arrested and charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol
