My experience happened in Coolup which is roughly near Waroona, and basically my mate and I had been in Bunbury and since he had been raised out in the Coolup area we took the scenic route back up to Mandurah.

Anyways, we stopped for a toilet break on Richter road in front of an old factory, and we were stood there peeing and I can't really describe the feeling but it was a stomach drop, then everything went dead silent - and I mean dead silent. Like you could hear your own heartbeat.

This was in summer (2016) and there were paddocks everywhere surrounding us. Then from what I estimate to be 70 metres across the field this bloke stepped out. I have a height reference as it was behind a building separate from the factory (I'm assuming it's a toilet block), and at that moment my brain went "there's a bloke staring at us". But then I realised the proportions.. his head height was with the gutter railing of the building, built like said shithouse and his fingers were past his knees.

We jumped in my mate's ute and he fanged it, I've never seen him that freaked out or just scared on a primal level and he was a bush boy, black belt in taekwondo, drillers offsider etc, he wasn't a bloke easily intimidated or deterred by anything.

I've spoken to local elders about it, and honestly mate if this "bloke" wanted to it would have cleared the paddock and ragdolled us, I've seen some tall fellas but this thing was immense.

Prior to that experience, I never believed in bigfoot or had even heard of yowies but this thing was literally just like a huge hairy man.

I should add that the face wasn't definable enough at that distance. It's height was easily around 8ft and aside from the width of his shoulder area it was very lean in an athletic way, and when it took off back behind the building it was quick, and was kinda human in the way it moved but also not.

I had nightmares for months afterwards, and after nearly 10 years I've started telling people that experience and they have laughed it off so this page has given me confidence because other people have similar experiences so I'm not just imagining it.
