The strange appearance of what seemed to be an eerie, glowing face in the sky over an Indian village left bewildered witnesses confounded and concerned. According to a local media report, the odd incident occurred on Wednesday morning in the community of Farabari. To the astonishment of residents, the pre-dawn sky was suddenly illuminated by a sizeable glowing object that produced an image bearing an uncanny resemblance to a face peering down at them from the heavens. "It was unlike anything I’ve ever seen before," marveled witness Kumar Tamang, who photographed the strange sight (featured below) before it slowly moved across the sky and vanished.

The Farabari resident was not the only individual to spot something unusual that morning, as two other people in neighboring communities also reported seeing anomalous aerial illuminations around the same time as the sighting. The frightening face Tamang spotted was almost certainly a trick of light and shadow brought about by an illuminated object appearing behind some clouds. That said, the source of the light seen by the different witnesses remains a mystery, with some suggesting it was from a rocket launch or some similarly prosaic point of origin and others positing that it could have been aliens or, in a sign of the times, the 3I/ATLAS interstellar object.
