Multi-witness incident on Oct. 16, 2025 around 10pm
Near the north edge of Folkston, Georgia where two major railroad lines converge. The railroad convergence is known as the "Folkston Funnel".

Train spotters staying at a rental cabin beside the railroad bed described first hearing brush cracking and movement of a large animal in the treeline across the tracks around 10pm. Over the course of several minutes they observed reflecting or glowing eyes where the sounds were coming from. Rocks were being thrown from that direction, with some rocks landing on the railroad rails causing sparks to shoot up on impact. One of the witnesses saw the dark creature rise from a crouched position to a standing position. He says it had to be about 7 feet tall. It stood up then stepped back into the trees. Nothing happened after that.

The areas where the figure was seen is on CSX property so the witnesses were discouraged from tresspassing to look for footprints over there the next morning.

The train spotters stayed two more night but nothing happened on those subsequent nights.

Why would a sasquatch throw rocks toward these train spotters on the other side of the tracks? One distinct possibility:

The train spotters set up bright LED panels to shine across the tracks in order to illuminate passing trains. The tall rock thrower perhaps did not like those lights illuminating the tracks. The rocks seemed to be directed at the LED lights on tripods.
