NEWLY posted footage of the "best Bigfoot sighting ever" has sent conspiracy theorists into a fresh storm of speculation over the mythological being.

The bizarre clip appears to show a figure with human limbs, covered in black fur and crouching in a forest in woods near the Mississippi town of Tunica in the US.

When the tall creature stands up to a massive height, the cameraman appears to flee in panic.

Bigfoot believers think the ape-like humanesque creature originating in North American folklore still dwells in the wilderness - but others are more sceptical.

Josh Highcliff, who filmed the original clip, said: “There was this huge black thing crouched by a dead cypress about 50 yards away, I thought it was a hog but saw these big shoulders and a head upright with hands.

“It looked like it was digging out the stump.

“When it stood up I could not control myself and ran.

“That stump was huge and I'd guess the sucker was 7ft tall.”

A new legion of Bigfoot speculators were enthralled when the clip was posted on conspiracy theory channel Disclose Screen on Saturday.

One wrote: “Wow if that’s real, and it really could be, it’s probably the best evidence I’ve seen."
