It's Christmas 1973 in the sleepy country town of Upper Main Arm, Northern New South Wales, Australia. For the children of the tiny local primary school, the school day has just ended, and they are out in the late afternoon light playing on the 'jungle jim’ and other play equipment, whilst their parents are inside the School building enjoying the annual Christmas party.

Something absolutely strange and unexpected appears silently on the other side of the fence across from the playground. All of the around 30 children, comprising the one class that the school holds, rush over to the fence to stare in disbelief at the large, dark grey, metallic flying saucer that is hovering right in front of them.

They stand there as if hypnotised for maybe two or three minutes.

What happens during that period is still unknown, the witnesses so far have stated that they saw no windows or doors in the craft, only a single light underneath it, and that they saw no child enter the craft.

One of the witnesses, Chana Waters, who you will hear from in this video, states that she broke away from the group finally, and ran into the school, found her mother and pulled on her arm insistently saying ‘You must come out! There’s a flying saucer out there!’. Chana’s mother saw the craft as it lifted up and flew up into the sky.

Incredibly, despite the fact that this event was witnessed by 30 children and one adult, there was no report to the authorities, there was no newspaper journalists alerted or TV channels visiting. The incident has been largely forgotten for 53 years, undoubtedly quietly spoken about at times amongst friends and family.

This mass sighting in broad daylight at a school is however just as significant as the famous event in 1966 at the Westall School in Melbourne, where over 200 children and at least one teacher witnessed a number of anomalous craft one day, and the equally incredible event in Zimbabwe in 1994 at the Ariel school (which was investigated by Harvard psychiatrist and Professor John Mack). Chana Waters and Carl Smith have bravely come forward to finally tell the story, and we are hoping that others who were there that day would like to tell their story as well.

It is understandable after 50 years that many people would prefer not to say anything about their experience, but in this unique time, where disclosure is finally starting to happen, where governments all over the world are admitting that there has been a presence here amongst us for a very long time indeed, there has never been a better time to safely come forward and tell your own story. The world is waiting to hear from you.
