The story of Marduk that finally shows why he was the Babylonian king of gods
The story of Marduk comes from the hugely important Enûma Elish, otherwise known as the seven tablets of creation. These cuneiform clay tablets tell the story of Marduk's birth, heroic deeds and becoming the ruler of the gods. Whilst Marduk is well defined as being from the Anunnaki Family tree, he is far from being associated with Sumerian lore, Marduk was the patron god of Babylon, the Babylonian king of the gods, who presided over justice, compassion, regeneration, and fairness.
