A village in India is stirring after a very strange incident wherein a woman purportedly got possessed by the ghost of a dead girl who then recounted her own murder. According to a local media report, the unsettling case occurred in the community of Baringia last month when an unnamed college student was suddenly overtaken by what was alleged to be the spirit of a youngster who had perished in the town in July. The seemingly possessed woman recalled the horrific circumstances of the youngster's death by fire and asserted that she had returned to the realm of the living to speak to her parents.

Amazingly, the eerie incident is said to have lasted a staggering 90 minutes and the woman became sick shortly thereafter. A rather unnerving video of the possible possession was posted to social media in India, where it quickly went viral. In the footage, the woman can be heard wailing and screaming while revisiting the final moments of the murdered girl's life. Although skeptics will undoubtedly say that the case was some kind of mental health episode or perhaps a very tasteless hoax, many residents of the village believe that it was a genuinely terrifying visit from the 'other side.'
