Syrian army recaptured areas in Homs
The past two days have become enough successful for the Syrian army and allied forces, as they have liberated new territories from ISIS terrorists in the eastern part of Homs province.
On August 5, the government forces backed by aviation and armoured divisions initiated offensive to the northwest of the T-4 Airbase, inflicting heavy losses to the defense lines and fortifications of terrorists.
As a result of the offensive, the Syrian army liberated five settlements east of Mannoukh city. It is also reported that the Syrian troops set up an ambush in the area of Al- Shandakhiyah, killing at least 10 terrorists and destroying a truck with ammunition and weapons.
