The jihadist fighters of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham launched an assault in the southern countryside of the Aleppo Governorate, Tuesday, targeting the Syrian Army’s (SAA) positions in the Jourat Al-Jhash area.

Terrorists began the attack by sending their forces from Kafr Aybash towards the Jourat Al-Jhash area, hoping to infiltrate the Syrian Army’s defenses in a surprise assault.

However, Syrian Army scouts spotted the HTS terrorists moving towards their positions and notified the military prior to the attack; this would pay dividends in the end, as they were able to drive back the militants.
