Reinforcement of Syrian army arrived in Deir Ezzor to push ISIS
The Syrian army units as well as elite Tiger Forces were deployed in the eastern part of Deir Ezzor province from northern Homs to repeal ISIS terrorist’s attack and to recapture lost territories.
The reinforcements will be tasked to recapture the town of Al-Shoulah and surrounding oilfields, which were previously captured during large-scale advance of terrorists on September 26.
It should be mentioned, that the town of Al-Shoulah is located along Deir Ezzor–As-Sukhnah highway. After terrorists captured the town they managed to shell the As-Sukhnah and attack the government forces positions in the area. That’s why the liberation of the town is a prior goal for the Syrian High Command.
