New successes of the Syrian Army in the South (map)

The Syrian Army initiated its large-scale southwest Syria offensive last week, following the deployment of the forces in the Daraa and Al-Quneitra provinces.

Just after the beginning of the operation, the Syrian troops managed to secure several advances in the northeastern part of Daraa.

Soon the government forces would be able to liberated dozens of settlements from the  Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham militants, forcing them to retreat towards the town of Busra Al-Harir.

The liberation of Busra Al-Harir from the militants is currently the proir goal for the Syrian armyin southwest Syria, as this is a stronghold for the jihadists in northeast Daraa.

After the full liberation of Busra Al-Harir, the Syrian troops intends to move towards the historical city of Busra Al-Sham and the nearby Nassib Crossing.
