French Journalist Christelle Néant on Ukraine’s Decade of War on Donbass Civilians

Back in Donetsk anew, I interviewed war correspondent and journalist, Christelle Néant. Christelle arrived in Donetsk in 2016 to report on what had already been two bloody years of Ukraine warring on its former population in the Donetsk and Lugansk Peoples Republics.

Watch interview HERE.

She reported from extremely dangerous frontline positions, documenting the Ukrainian shelling and violations of the Minsk accords, also giving a human face to the civilians being terrorized by Kiev’s forces.

When the Special Military Operation began in February 2022, Christelle had already seen towns destroyed–and people she knew and had come to love killed–by Ukraine’s bombings. She then reported from Mariupol–the city Western corporate media lied about from afar–taking testimonies from civilians who spoke of being prevented from leaving by Ukrainian forces, fired on by Ukrainian forces.

Néant saw time and again how Ukraine used civilian populations as human shields in cities and towns throughout the Donbass, Russian forces liberating them with painstaking care.

Her words are incredibly powerful, providing an overview of nearly the entirety of Ukraine’s (NATO’s) bloody war on the Donbass and on Russia.
