Civilians welcome Syrian army near Jordanian border

Yesterday night the Syrian Army succeed a great advance along the Syrian-Jordanian border, liberating a number of towns and settlements that were previously run by the militants.

The locals from Zaizoun welocomed the government forces as they entered their home town in the southern province of Daraa.

Syrians welcomed the Syrian troops with chants and victory signs. The government forces also reportedly etnered Tal Shihab, where they were reportedly given the same welcome.

Previously, the Syrian Army and the allied forces reached a ceasefire deal in Daraa after the negotiations with the militant group leaders.

It should be mentioned, the UN has estimated that more than 320,000 civilians have been displaced in the Daraa since the beginning of the Syrian army operation.
