A US Study suggests children born during the pandemic have lower IQ’s of about 20 points on average. Have governments taken measures during the pandemic that have not looked at things holistically, causing collateral damage?

To be clear, the solution to this would be to create engaging, warm and stimulating conditions for children as much as possible. Community is key, meaningful connection is key. We’re not stuck with this result, but it’s unlikely government will suggest anything meaningful to address what’s happening. Since children are at virtually no risk to COVID, it’s helpful to recognize we don’t need to bring ultra protection and fear into the equation.
