Intro to juicing - juicing benefits and tips

I promised you a video about juicing. So here you go! ☺️

For this video, I decided to create a quick beginner’s guide to the world of juice making. I talk about health and beauty benefits of juicing, juice cleansing and answer the question that I get asked every day: what the heck do you do with the pulp. I also included 3 of my favourite juice recipes that are not only simple, but at the same time really, really tasty.

I’m actually super excited to share with you my juicing tips and tricks. Drinking green juice has had such an incredible impact on my health and the way I feel and look that I simply cannot keep them a secret.

1. Liquid Sunshine Juice

This juice is a true treat! It’s deliciously sweet and refreshing. I especially like drinking it during fall as a way to boost my immunity and keep the flu away.

2. Glowing Green Juice

This is the simplified version of the green juice that I usually drink for breakfast. So it’s perfect for juicing beginners! I usually drink 2-4 cups of this beauty at once. Play around with the sweetness by adding more or less apples/pears.

3. Pink Power Juice

How pretty is this juice? Isn’t the colour just beet-utiful? Get it? ? I like to add a pinch of turmeric to this juice for its amazing healing powers and extra kick.

Hi! Welcome to Fablunch, a place where I share with you my favourite quick and healthy lunch and snack recipes and most importantly my passion for a well-balanced and happy lifestyle. But first let’s get to know each other!

My name is Olga, and I am a foodaholic.

Yes, I am not afraid to admit it.

I have been crazy about food and cooking ever since I can remember. In fact, my happiest childhood memories are of me playing house with my dolls and preparing food for them.

I started my journey to optimal health out of necessity. Stressful work environment, lack of exercise and poor eating habits led to severe health problems. I remember my doctor telling me that I will have to be on medication my entire life to control the pain. Well, one day the pills stopped working and the pain was still unbearable. With nothing to lose but my health to gain, I started my mini-science experiment.

The next day I signed up for my first yoga class and became a pescatarian. By educating myself about nutrition, healthy living, and most importantly learning to love and cherish my body, I not only overcame my health issues, but also became a better, happier version of myself. In a way, getting sick was a blessing as it put me on the right path.

Having my own YouTube cooking channel has been a dream of mine for ages. In 2012, I finally got enough courage to make that dream a reality and uploaded my first video to YouTube. Now I have a platform to share what I learned about healthy eating with the world, and I do it through showing you my favourite ideas for healthy lunches.

Fast forward to the present day. I have made thousands of new friends online with whom I get to share my lunchbox experiments and who inspire me to continue with my journey to optimal health. And for that, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.♥

A while ago, I made a video of 50 Random Facts About Me. If you want to learn a few more things about me or want to see my cat Olive attack me, check out the video below  or watch my Q&A video.

Sending you many, many virtual hugs!

Love,

Olga ♥
