Don't sleep with your cell phone
Cell phones operate by using wireless (WiFi) radiation. WiFi is microwave radiation – like what cooks food in microwave ovens.
In 2011, The World Health Organization classified all sources of wireless (WiFi) radiation as a “Group 2B Possible Carcinogen.”
Some scientists believe there is enough research that proves it should be classified as a Group A Carcinogen.
When we are exposed to wireless (WiFi) radiation, we absorb it. Decades of research has proven this can be harmful.

CBSNews.com isn’t the first to recommend guidelines for safely using cell phones.
Since 2009, America’s favorite doctor, Dr. Oz, has also offered similar guidelines to what was recently posted by CBSNews.com.
In 2010, GQ Magazine published a powerful article warning us about cell phone radiation. Included were interviews with scientists who had conducted research for the U.S. government and the telecom industry.
When we purchase products that emit wireless (WiFi) radiation, they include guidelines that state holding these products too close to our bodies doesn’t fall within federal safety guidelines and standards.
According to many scientists, U.S. federal safety standards and guidelines are outdated and inaccurate in regard to electronic and wireless products. Also see here.
All new wireless technology emits wireless (WiFi) radiation. This includes cell phones, cell towers, WiFi routers, utility “Smart” Meters, and more.
“Safety” testing for products that emit wireless (WiFi) radiation is not required to be performed on humans, animals, or live tissue. It is primarily performed on plastic mannequin heads and bodies.
We do not receive guidelines when utility companies install wireless or digital utility “Smart” Meters on homes and buildings. However, these meters operate by emitting wireless (WiFi) radiation 24 hours every day. This may prove to be problematic, especially for those who sleep with their beds on the opposite side of the wall of a utility “Smart Meter” or multiple “Smart Meters.”
Many insist that these utility “Smart” Meters are NOT safe and they have proven these meters exceed current federal safety standards.
In 2014, The American Cancer Society stated that wireless or digital “Smart” Meters could increase possible cancer risk.
Health issues associated with wireless (WiFi) radiation exposure include difficulty sleeping and insomnia.

Decades ago when cell phones were first introduced to the public, they were very expensive so most people didn’t own them. Many people had landlines in their homes. There were also plenty of public phone booths for everyone to use. Legendary superhero, Superman, frequently used phone booths to change into his uniform. They seemed to be on every corner of Metropolis.
Now that cell phones are less expensive, many people own them and it is common to sleep with them or keep them next to the bed. Corded landline phones don’t use wireless (WiFi) radiation to operate. However, cordless landline phones also emit Electromagnetic Radiation (EMR) so they actually can cause health issues also.
Quarterback Tom Brady and wife Giselle Bunchen’s holistic lifestyle includes no electronics in the bedroom including cell phones.
Your pets may be affected by exposure to wireless (WiFi) radiation and electronic devices even if you aren’t.
Your kids may be affected by exposure to Wireless (WiFi) Radiation and electronic devices even if you aren’t. That may be why Silicon Valley parents have been limiting their kids’ exposure to new technology for many years already.
We are constantly warned about protecting ourselves and our loved ones from sun exposure. Many of us slather ourselves with high SPF lotion before we walk out the door every day. We wear hats and other protected clothing. But we are not constantly warned about protecting ourselves from wireless (WiFi) radiation exposure.
Even if none of this concerns you, studies have found that cell phones are 10 times dirtier than a toilet seat.
Sweet dreams.
