Bach flowers and their powerful effects on our emotions

Have you ever heard of Bach Flowers Remedies? Many people have experienced the remarkable power of Bach Flowers Remedies on raising the emotions.

Clinically they do wonders and should be a tool in any alternative practitioner’s practice. One of the most remarkable and memorable times I can remember was using them with a woman who was hysterical, crying and almost hyperventilating. She was asked to lift up her head, about 10 drops were administered and literally in seconds she began to calm down and in under 2 minutes, she scarcely remembered why she was hysterical.

So what is a Bach Flower?

First, in order to talk about Bach Flowers, we need to understand Homeopathy. Homeopathy was discovered by a medical doctor name Samuel Hahnemann in the late 1700s. It operates on the principle of “like cures like” and involves the use of the energy of a particular substance to bring about healing.

One of the most popular homeopathics (and there are thousands) is called Rhus Toxicodendron or as we know it, poison ivy. When people are exposed to poison ivy, one of many symptoms such as itchy skin, redness, swelling, blisters, and hives can occur depending upon the severity of the reaction. A homeopathic solution is made taking poison ivy (a part of the plant), putting it in water and succussing (shaking) it. One drop of the water is then taken and put into another container of water and it is successed again. After a few rounds of this, the actual substance (poison ivy) cannot be found in the solution. However, the energy of it is there and the more it is successed, the more powerful it becomes.

So if you have a rash, redness, swelling, or hives and you take the homeopathic, since “like cures like” the symptoms should reduce or go away completely. If the energy of the problem you are having matches the energy of the homeopathic, they cross each other out, restoring health. Homeopathics are used extensively throughout Europe and other parts of the world. The best part of it is that you cannot overdose; and if it is not the right energy match, nothing happens. In other words, there are zero side effects.

Homeopathy restores balance or homeostasis to the body. Dr. Edward Bach, also a medical doctor, wondered if instead of bringing the body back to status quo, if you could help to elevate it energetically. Flowers are some of the most beautiful and healing substances in nature. When people smell flowers, often times the scents provoke many wonderful reactions. Dr. Bach wondered if the essence or energy or vibration of flowers could be captured into water. While Bach Flowers are not made the same way a homeopathic is, the idea is similar in that the energy of that substance is captured and administered. There are 39 Bach Flower Remedies, 38 of which come from flowers. Each flower has a remarkable effect on raising the emotional state of someone. Let me give one example of the uses from the flower Star of Bethlehem.

“(It is) For those in great distress under conditions which for a time produce great unhappiness. The shock of serious news, the loss of someone dear, the fright following an accident, and such like. For those who for a time refuse to be consoled, this remedy brings comfort.” – Dr. Edward Bach

It is used for even that cause trauma, shock, and post traumatic stress.

Each flower has its own unique properties and effects on the emotions. Normally you will find Bach Flower Remedies with only five flowers combined together at once. However, instead of having to choose which ones to select, here is another option.

About 1 year ago, I discovered a company that makes a remarkable product that contains 37 of the flowers combined. So instead of using just 5 flowers at a time, you can get 37. People frequently test for it with kinesiology in the clinic. I personally use it every day.

This is one product I would recommend for everyone. There are no side effects and positive feedback is heard from people all the time. They should be taken for a minimum of 2-3 months to start seeing lasting results. Give your emotional life the help it needs now with Fields of Flowers. One bottle (at 30 drops per day, 3 times per day) lasts about one month. Each bottle is $26 dollars.
