US President Donald Trump has told a rally in Nevada that a recent email scandal involving Hunter Biden shows the entire Biden family is a “criminal enterprise,” which is aided by the mainstream media.

President Trump said the scandal - which involves a NY Post expose detailing links between Joe Biden, his son and a corrupt Ukrainian businessmen, shows corruption is endemic within the Democratic establishment.

“In 2016, you voted to fire this corrupt and decrepit political establishment and you elected an outsider as president who is finally putting America First,” President Trump told the packed rally in the key state of Arizona.

“Joe Biden, is and always has been, a corrupt politician.

“As far as I am concerned, the Biden family is a criminal enterprise.

"The Bidens make Crooked Hillary Clinton look like an absolute amateur."

The Biden campaign has denied the vice president used his office to further his son’s business deals.

However, emails retrieved by a laptop reportedly owned by Hunter Biden show he planned to introduce his father – the then Vice President – to an executive at Ukrainian energy company Burisma.
