• Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) was received at the White House by US President Donald Trump.

• Since the 1960s, Washington has applied the principle of "Qualitative Military Edge" aimed at ensuring Israel’s technological superiority in the Middle East. A doctrine enshrined in US law since 2018. Donald Trump has chosen to place Saudi Arabia at the same level of armament as Israel. He has pledged to provide 48 F-35s to the KSA, while Israel owns 45 and has ordered 30 more. This agreement will take several years to be honored.

• The United States has signed a mutual security pact with Saudi Arabia comparable to the one it has concluded with Qatar.

• Saudi Arabia has committed to investing $1,000 billion in the United States, instead of the $600 billion previously announced.

• The atmosphere of this meeting was the opposite of the attitude of the Biden administration. The latter considered MBS a "pariah" after the murder of Muslim Brother journalist Jamal Khashoggi. On the contrary, Donald Trump has cleared MBS of any crime.

• Elon Musk has announced that his xAI artificial intelligence project is collaborating with major chipmaker Nvidia to build a 500-megawatt data center in Saudi Arabia.
