Australian governments have spent over $1 billion collectively on the construction of state-of-the-art quarantine camps across the country, and now they are beginning to open for business.

The state that holds the record for the longest days spent under lockdown of any place on earth is now in the quarantine camp game!
Victorian authorities have announced today that the new $580 million quarantine facility, the Mickleham ‘Centre For National Resilience’, will start taking unvaccinated travellers and “some COVID-positive members of the community” from Monday.
The Andrews government say the facility currently has capacity to host 500 people and, from April, would be able to accommodate up to 1000 people at any one time.
