Garlic and ginger teriyaki sauce

A versatile, simple and easy to make recipe. It can be used as a dip, a pouring sauce, or a marinade. - Neko-Chan
Ingredients
2 tbs soy sauce
1 tbs brown sugar
1 tbs olive oil
2 garlic cloves minced
1 tsp crystalized ginger
1 tsp black pepper to taste
1/2 tsp allspice
1/2 tsp nutmeg
Method
Combine all ingredients until sugar is dissolved.
Refrigerate for a minimum of 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
If wanting to use as a marinade, double or triple the recipe according to how much meat you wish to coat, and let marinate for several hours or overnight.
Use brown sugar or honey, and fresh or crystalised ginger.
