This is the fourth and final part of my series on How To Create A Soulful Vision Board (parts 1,2 and 3 below), so I’m going to make a louder call to action than before. If you’ve been sitting back on the sidelines watching these videos and thinking about how you should be making your vision board, please stop “shoulding all over yourself” and get to it!

Spring is about to spring, so this is a great time to get your intentions on that board of yours and start infusing your life with inspiration and positive focus. Grab your supplies and get going. It’s going to positively shift your life in ways you currently can’t even imagine!

In this particular video, I cover the last three of my 10 tips for creating a great Vision Board:

8. Use the bagua as a template (but stay loose). 

By using the feng shui bagua, you’ll be sure to cover all the important areas of you life. But don’t follow it too strictly. Stay loose with the boundaries and listen to your intuition even more than your mind. If you feel certain areas of your life particularly overlap, then show that on your board by connecting or overlapping those sections.

If you get a feeling that something should be in a particular sector of your board, but it doesn’t make logical sense, do it anyway. I find that the most powerful Vision Boards come from following your heart and intuition completely.

9. Stay open to something better.

Sure, you’re going to put wonderful things on your board. But those things are not an end in themselves. You put them on your board because they make you feel a certain way – like happy, proud, inspired, etc.

It’s important to not get too literal with your board, because what you really want is to manifest a life that makes you FEEL the way your board does. And as smart as you are, the Universe is smarter, and may know a better way to make feel great than you can currently conceive. I recommend putting this quote from Shakti Gawain’s, “Creative Visualization” on the front or back of your board:

“This, or something better, now manifests for me in totally satisfying and harmonious ways for the good of all concerned.”

Say it aloud regularly as an affirmation as you look at your board.

10. LOVE YOUR BOARD!!

This is the most important, all-pervasive rule of creating a Vision Board: you absolutely must create a board that you adore.

This means you only put things you LOVE on your board. If you think an image is “nice” but it doesn’t ignite your passion or make your heart sing, then skip it. The secret of creating an amazing Vision Board is connecting with what you deeply want and reminding yourself what it feels like to be passionately in love with life.  Cover every inch of your Vision Board with only things that really warm your heart and/or excite you, and pass on the so-so stuff.
