Dr. Christopher Kerr was stunned to find that a nurse in the Buffalo Hospice where he worked knew when a patient was dying because "He's seeing his [deceased] mother". When Dr. Kerr told her "I must have missed that class in medical school" her response was classic: "Son, you missed a lot of classes." After that, he learned that he was the only one of the staff who did not know about end-of-life visions.
