Have we finally found Atlantis?

A team led by independent archaeologist Michael Donnellan claims to have uncovered evidence of Atlantis off the coast of Cádiz, Spain, a site that mirrors Plato's writings with striking accuracy. Using sonar scans, satellite imaging, and aerial photography, researchers revealed vast concentric circular walls, carved canals, and a central rectangular ruin they believe to be Poseidon's temple. Joe Rogan's podcast guest, researcher Ben van Kerkwyk, shared the findings, leaving Rogan stunned as he referenced Donnellan's upcoming documentary Atlantica.

The ruins align with Plato's descriptions of a fertile land in the region of Gades, complete with grand temples, advanced harbor systems, and animal references such as horses, bulls, and elephants—all of which tie into Andalusia's ancient history. Evidence of sudden destruction, likely from a tsunami, strengthens the theory of a cataclysmic event around 12,000 years ago, as suggested by the controversial Younger Dryas Impact Hypothesis. While many scholars dismiss Atlantis as myth, Donnellan argues that the underwater structures, prehistoric settlements, and signs of international trade prove an advanced civilization once thrived in this region.
